resources do I need on my computer in
order to use the CCI web hosting
services? |
You
do not need anything more than a personal
computer with Internet access. If
you do not have an FTP program installed,
no need to worry there are plenty
of free ones out there or you can
use the built-in FTP program available
in our web-base administration
tool MonsterControls. |

Yes,

Yes
we full supports FP 2000 and FP 2002

are the various types of databases CCI
offers with its packages? |
Unix plans come pre-configured with
mySQL and mSQL. Should you choose
one of our Windows packages, you will
receive access to a SQL server or
a Microsoft Access server. |

CCI offer any ready-to-use chat rooms? |
Yes,
we offer a basic Java-based chat room
and a high-end Volano chat room. You
can install other chat programs with
permission from our support team. |

| Will
I have unlimited access to my site for
updates? |
Yes.
You have unlimited access via FTP
24 hours a day 365 days a year. As
such, you can create and maintain
your web pages on your own computer
and upload files to your web site
any time you wish. |

additional domains be pointed to my
main domain? |
Yes.
We can alias (park) additional domains
to point to the same main page as
your master domain and it will also
share the same mail system. There
is a one-time $30.00 set-up fee and
$5 per month for each domain you add
as an alias. |

I host domains in the sub-directory
of my account? |
Yes,
by utilizing our Fake IP add on. It
is a CGI based tool that provides
the ability to point additional domains
to subdirectories of your main domain.
There is a one-time $35.00 set-up
fee and $12 per month for each domain
you add as a Fake IP.

you handle Foreign Domain Name Registrations? |
We
currently house domains from over
150+ countries, and can house any
valid domain name extension. Currently
we offer domain name registration
services for .com, .net , biz, info,
.org, us, name, tv, and cc. co.uk,
de, org.uk, ca, cn, com.cn, net.cn,
org.cn, be, gs, ms, tc, vg, jp.

is billing handled? |
The
initial sign up is done through a
credit card, using our secure merchant
account, or via Paylpal. If you prefer
to pay by check or wire transfer,
contact us to make those arrangements.

are your Network capabilities? |
You
are hosted on our fiber optic network,
which connects to the Internet through
5 redundant DS-3, OC-3 and OC-12 multi-homed
connections. This high-speed connectivity
combined with exceptionally fast and

guarantee fast access to all web sites
housed.

Operating System and Server Software
is being used? |
All
our UNIX based systems run a customized
version of RedHat with the powerful
Apache Web Server and Apache SSL Server
for secure transactions. Additionally,
we offer Microsoft-based systems using
the Windows 2003 Advanced Server operating
system.

type of hardware are you using? |

maximum reliability all our servers
are custom-built using the best components
currently available in the industry.
Since there are constant improvements

processors and lots of memory and
storage space.

CCI offer any dial-up access to the
Internet? |
No,
you will need to contact your local
Internet Service Provider (ISP) for
local dial-up access to the Internet.

CCI offer any professional/customer
web site design? |
Yes
we do. Please select “Services”
from the top menu, then select DESIGN
for more information.

CCI offer a pre-configured shopping
cart? |
Yes we do. We have 5 different shopping
carts available, 2 of which are absolutely
free to every customer. First our
complimentary carts are MonsterCart,
a simple easy to configure shopping
card and Boutique, a single page only
shopping cart. Additionally, we are
proud to offer Miva Corporation's
Miva Merchant and Miva Order. Miva
Merchant is a very sophisticated shopping
system allowing for up to 100,000
products in 1000 different categories.
Its counter-part, Miva Order, which
is offered with our Web Commerce Lite
package is a slimmed down version
of Merchant and allows for 25 products
on a single page/category.

| What
statistical package does CCI offer? |
ICS Windows 2003 packages comes with
Deep Metrix's Live Stats. Our Unix
packages come free with Boutell's
Wusage statistics.

What about accepting credit cards, can
I do it securely? |
All of ’CCIs web hosting packages
come with complimentary use of our
shared SSL certificates. Each certificate
uses 1024 bit security to ensure that
every credit card submitted on your
web site is encrypted prior to the
information being sent to you.

Do you offer any pre-configured CGI-scripts? |
Yes, CCI offers 3o free, pre-installed
CGI-scripts on all of its Unix-based
packages. These include FormMail,
cgiemail, Guestbooks, WWWboard (bbs),
and guest counters. Our Windows 2003
packages come with 6 pre-installed
handy cgi-scripts.

Does CCI allow for custom cronjobs to
be setup? |
ICS does allow custom crons. However,
these must be approved on a case-by-case
basis by our support team. There will
be an additional monthly cost depending
on the complexity and the frequency
of the program the cron is executing.

Do you maintain backups of my data? |
Yes. We backup your web directory
daily on to our tape backup machines.
Additionally, through MonsterControls
you have the option to compress and
backup your web files directly.

Can I access my domain without the "www"
in front? |
Yes. You will be able to access your
domain address with or without the
"www" in front of the domain
name. Example: [http://www.your-name.com]
or [http://your-name.com] is acceptable,
whichever you prefer.

How long does it take to set-up a new
account? |
New accounts are set-up within 24
hours from the time we receive your
order, though for Unix it can be as
fast as 1 hour, and Windows 4 hours.
Once your account is set-up, you will
be emailed your Account Login information
(User ID, Password & FTP hostname)
along with some useful URLs to help
you get started. You can immediately
start uploading files to your new
web site. Domain account users will
be given a temporary URL to access
their site via the web prior to the
completion of either domain registration
or domain modification.

Can I compile programs written in C
and C++? |
Yes, if the account you choose includes
SSH/Telnet access. The standard gcc
compiler is used.
